Interact Students Prepare Meal for Families at Ronald McDonald House

The age old saying, it’s better to give than receive has new meaning for a group of Canfield High School students.  Students from the Interact Club spent a day over winter break at the Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland preparing a home-cooked meal for 55 guest families. According to the Ronald McDonald House spokesperson, “The Family Meal Program provides a much-needed service to our families who are supporting their children and often do not have the time, energy, or funds to prepare a healthy, home-cooked meal while they stay here.” The Interact students along with Canfield Schools Superintendent, Alex Geordan and his family prepared ham, perogies, green beans, and cookies for the families.  The students also visited the hospital.
