Jennifer Kluchar is a graduate of Austintown Fitch. She continued her education at Youngstown State University earning a Bachelor of Art in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Special Education from The University of Kansas. She is currently a teacher in the Youngstown City School District and is a member of the Community Leadership Coalition on Education.
Prior to running for Board in 2019, she was a proud CHS Band “Uniform Mom” as well as a Speech and Debate Team booster. She is a current member of the Youngstown Education Association and the Disciples Christian Church in Boardman.
She decided to run for the Canfield Board of Education because she felt a calling and believes she has the knowledge and skills to help all students. She has extensive professional experience in education including lobbying at the State House. Her goal as a Board member is to see the visions of all stakeholders become a reality and to help spread the positives in the District.
Mrs. Kluchar believes that being a Cardinal means that you will “soar to your dreams.” She and her husband, Matt, reside in Canfield. Together they have five children, Jack and Jared (Cross), Alex, Meghan (all of whom are recent Canfield High School graduates) and Benjamin.
